Class Act All The Way!
Vonda Mills wrote a review not even worth reading. She evidently doesnt have a clue. This performance is Spectacular and there is nothing pathetic about the 80's.The music scene was so inventive and diverse,a time period which will be truly missed.Rick rips through all his greatest hits with bursting energy and his backing band is top notch. The video effects are cutting edge for the time.Rick was ...

Exciting, Post High-Noon Cooper Western
It would be nearly impossible for Gary Cooper to follow up his Oscar-winning performance in High Noon with as great as a Western, but Springfield Rifle is more than rousingly entertaining. It is well-written and although it has some lapses in logic, it does have good plotting. Cooper plays a disgraced Union major from Virginia who falls in with Confederate raiders who are stealing Union ...

Missing Her
This DVD captures Dusty live. There are flaws to be sure...some of her off the cuff comments in between songs are not captured due to the quality of the audio...and you'd wish that you could hear them, since not much footage is out there that let those of us who've never had the opportunity to see Dusty perform live experience her presence...but this video does let you get a glimpse, and lets ...

A TOUCHING LOVE STORY - A TOUCH OF FRANCE!
Trouble starts when Domenique asks her bookish sister, Kimberly Jamison to switch places with her. Twins do that sometimes. Kim does not feel comfortable with her sisters' life style - but boy are they beautiful. The gal not the life style. Domenique finally admits to a drinking problem, helped by our villian, but does not want to give up her place as a top fashion model. Kim is afraid ...

Cheesy but good.
I used to watch this movie as a young adult and really loved it, especially since Rick Springfield was in it. As an adult, I still love it. It just a fun no brainer kind of movie. There is some nudity (Rick's behind) and some awkward sexual innuendos/content so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 15 or 16. One of the best parts is when Rick is in military dress whites. He looks really ...

Dusty At The Absolute Peak of Her Powers - TEN STARS
Wow... how to put this into words... When this arrived I threw it on just to quickly check the image quality, intending to watch it when I had some free time. Almost two hours later, unable to turn it off at any point, I'm compelled to sit at the keys for a quick review... I've never bought into the label of Greatest British Female Vocalist as applied to Dusty. To me, quite clearly and ...

A well done tribute to Gary Cooper's work
This signature collection of films starring Gary Cooper that are now under the control of Warner Home Video is a great tribute to an actor whose film career spanned 35 years. Two of the films are 5 star films - "The Fountainhead" and "Sergeant York", two more are 4 star films - "The Wreck of the Mary Deare" and "Springfield Rifle", and one film is a 3 star work - "Dallas". The idea of the ...

DUSTY IN HER PRIME
Being a huge Dusty Springfield fan -- I was thrilled with the selection and quality of performances on this DVD. Dusty tackles different genre in her unique and captivating way. I'm hoping there are similiar vintage releases in the future. You won't be dissappointed in this DVD.

You've got to see this one......
I am a H-U-G-E fan of the 'Forever Knight' TV show, and Geraint Wyn Davies. But I also LOVE this version of the movie/pilot. Rick is a wondeful singer, but most people don't know how well he can act too! There is one scene, where he is walking across his loft with a goblet of blood, and he dips his finger in and drips it into his mouth. Now, this was NOT in the script, he ad libed it ...

I can'r believe it.......I am soooo happy about this DVD!!
I remember seeing this concert on Showtime every chance I got!! We didn't have a VCR then so I had to put it on an audio tape!! And I still have it!! Although personally I had a crush on the Bass player Mike Seifrit. And I was lucky enough to meet him 2 years later when rick played at "Alpine Valley" in East Troy, WI in September 1984, and then I also went to see him in New york at Radio City ...

Be careful of this DVD - it's a copy
Reflections was a TV special, I think. The DVD "Dusty" and another one are copies of Reflections. I bought all 3 and told Amazon to see about these as these were frauds, direct copies. Buy Reflections and the Albert Hall concert, and leave the rest of them alone, unless you want 3 copies of the same thing. Dusty is fabulous as always but this DVD is not.

It's Magic all over again!
First off, I have to give kudos to Ink & Paint, Entertainment Rights, and BCI for unearthing these Filmation treasures from the Seventies. Especially with Mission: Magic! since this illustrates the reason why we fondly miss Saturday Morning Television. Before Springfield became famous as an international rock star, or starred on General Hospital, he did a stint for Filmation back in 1973. ...

A Sci-fi movie that everyone will love
Tonight as I was going through the t.v. I noticed that the movie Legion was coming on and since I had never seen the movie before I thought I would watch it, and I was very happy that I did, it turned out to be one of the best movies I have seen in a long time, this is a great movie and it really keeps you guessing about who is the killer, infact I guesses almost everyone to be the killer, ...

Buffalo Springfield?
A band that spawned Neil Young, the great Stephen Stills, Richie Furay, and I almost forgot Jim Messina, should be represented by a better DVD. Yes Dewey Martin and Bruce Palmer were original band members, but when was the last time you ran into someone who knew that, without scurrying to their old vinyl to look it up. If you don't care about the history of the band, and you have no idea who ...
