National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: Special Edition4 reviews
Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid

Warner Home Video, 2007

great classic
This is one of the best classic movies. It is so funny and no matter how many times I watch it, I never tire of it. Chevy Chase is a riot! Great casting with Beverly D'Angelo and Randy Quaid.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (Widescreen Edition)14 reviews
Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera

Warner, 2008

One word: Amazing.
I won't sit here and go into this big looooong speech about how amazing the movie is and how each part affected me. I'll just simple say that, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series are what "true" friendships should be like. Good times or bad, they stick by one another. You can learn so much just from watching the movies. I'll admit I cried my eyes out during the movie, but I also laughed ...

Turistas (Unrated Edition)76 reviews
Miguel Lunardi, Melissa George

20th Century Fox, 2007

Gory, Gross and Good?
A lot of negative reviews here might make you overlook this movie. It is in the Hostel/Saw genre of gross out, torture movies, but is actually fairly entertaining. The movie plays on the abduction fears many tourists have about latin America and steps it up a notch by adding in black market organ thieves. Sexy actors and actresses and a beautiful natural landscape provide nice eye-candy which ...

The CD was as advertised. The price was terrific and with free delivery it beats going shopping at a retail store. Meet Me In St.Louis is a classic, great family film and should be shown in every grade school.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (Widescreen)69 reviews
William Baldwin, Jason Bateman

Universal Studios, 2008

we were surprised
My wife and I took a chance on this and rented it when we couldn't find anything else. We haven't seen any other Apatow films -- they all looked a little too adolescent for our tastes. We had read some good reviews of this, though, so we gave it a shot. It was a real surprise -- very clever, well-written, and genuinely funny. Great cast, and all give excellent performances. Lots of real talent ...

Transsiberian16 reviews
Woody Harrelson

FIRST LOOK PICTURES, 2008

Excellent!
I don't usually review movies, but this is one of the best movies I have seen in a while, and it deserves a better score on here. Beautifully shot and very intense--it had me sweating.

The Brave Little Toaster102 reviews
Jon Lovitz, Timothy Stack

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2003

Another Childhood Favorite!!!
As a child, I loved this movie! Now that I'm 18, I still love it! Some people may think I'm too old to watch this, but I say they're wrong. I love the plot and characters. Toaster, Blanket, Lamp, Radio, and Kirby go on an adventure to New York City to find their master. They have a lot of troubles along the way. If you love comedy, and a child at heart, you'll love THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER!!!

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D112 reviews
Cayden Boyd, George Lopez

Dimension, 2005

sharkboy/lavagirl
My nephew has watched this many times. There's just enough action to keep his interest. The 3-D glasses are a very neat option and if you don't want that version, you can change it to "normal" viewing. The characters are very cool and it's easy to follow.

Dan in Real Life128 reviews
Juliette Binoche, Steve Carell

Buena Vista Home Entertainment / Touchstone, 2008

Great Family Entertainment
In this day of off-color humor, this charming film is a breath of fresh air. I'll admit, I waited until it was out on DVD; after all, Steve Carrell and Dan Cook aren't exactly known for starring in roles considered "family-friendly". I was pleasantly surprised at the all-around wholesome subject matter. If you're in the mood for a feel-good movie with plenty of laughs, this film delivers. ...

Diane Lane, Raoul Bova

Outstanding Movie
This is one of Diane Lanes best performances I have had the privilege of watching. It covers a spectrum of emotions. The story line takes you thru many ups and downs. The scenery is also excellent. Worth the price !

What About Bob?165 reviews
Bill Murray, Richard Dreyfuss

Buena Vista Home Entertainment, 2000

A favorite in my family
I had to review What About Bob? because this is one of the few comedies that almost everyone related to me really seems to like. I know just about every line by heart and sometimes can't help but say them out loud before the character does. Bill Murray is at his best here as the annoying OCD patient, but you can't help but care about this guy. Richard Dreyfuss knocks it out of the park as Dr. ...
