Wow!
My 22 month old son adores the Veggie Tales. This DVD is one that captivates him especially. And it brings tears to my eyes as well. We are not devoutly religious, but the values in these stories are just fundamental to human kindness.

Not Doing Something Has Never Been So Adventurous
Pirates was the first movie that my young son watched entirely in the movie theatre. He loves those silly vegetables and so do I. While he watches he does not even realize the important values he is learning, but I am gladened to know he is exposed to wonderful teaching moments. The story follows three pitiful veggie friends who are called to perform the most impossible task. They must ...

River Rafting Fun
We purchased yet another Veggietales video and once again we were not disappointed. In this adventure Tom and Huck teach everyone that sometimes we have to put others ahead of our own ambitions. I always find myself watching the videos just as hard as my son. He absolutely loves this movie and so do I. A parent cannot possibly go wrong teaching this important lesson to their child. By taking care ...

Best Veggie Tales Yet!
What a great, fun movie! I enjoyed this Veggie Tales movie so much & so did my 5 yr. old daughter. It has lots of "jokes for the grown ups" as I call them, especially at the end - B52's fans prepare to dance! This movie also manages to work in a spiritual message at the end, but does it so subtly that non-believers won't feel preached at in the least. The spiritual aspect is what I like most ...

We love VEGGIETALES
Veggietales are SO awesome! Christian or not, the videos are for ALL people of ALL ages. Claymation? at its finest. We love LarryBoy too. All the videos contain a good moral message. No violence, sex, drugs, or other adult themes that today's CARTOONS are INNUNDATED with. Ever watch today's cartoons? They are overwhelmingly filled with issues and characters I wouldn't want my teens to ...

One of my faves...maybe the kids...?
My kids range in ages from 11 to 5 and although the 11 year old won't admit it, even he can't get enough of Veggie Tales. Minnesota Cuke, played by the magnificent Larry the Cucumber is in search of Samson's hairbrush. He's like a veggie version of Indiana Jones, except Minnesota doesn't quite have Indie's confidence, although he does run into trouble just as Indie does, not just with his ...

Make sure you listen to the commentary by Larry the Cucumber and Mr. Lunt
I think the voice-over commentary is even funnier than the movie. My wife and I couldn't stop laughing. Please don't skip this part.

Great collection
This is a really great collection! Although, I must admit, we really only watch the Jukebox DVD most of the time. My daughter is obsessed with veggie tales songs and she's even starting to sing them herself at 18 months old. Even my husband and I enjoy them (in moderation.) I originally bought it for "The Silly Song Countdown", which I had seen before, but the jukebox DVD has more songs and you ...

What the world needs now...
I keep humming the theme song to LarryBoy and I'm okay with that. These movies complement other superhero stories and brings them to early childhood with straight-forward lessons. My four-year-old daughter watches the movies frequently and enjoys the combination of storylines.

The first is still my favorite
I remember watching this movie with my nephews and now that I have a child of my own I was excited about sharing it with him. It is a great story to help a child dealing with fear. They help to reinforce the idea that God is always watching them and taking care of them.

Great collection of favorite bits!
A neighbor loaned me their copy of this dvd the other day to watch with my toddler and I had to order a copy of our own because he loved it that much! Even though he's seen most of the material on other dvds or in the series, this is still a great compilation and perfect for when we don't necessarily have time to watch a whole dvd. (We do the same with the Silly Songs dvds, too ... pop one in ...

Very Well Done!
VeggieTales never lets you down and this is no exception. The story is about sharing a gift and how to use it to help others and I am always happy to show such positive cartoons to my kids. The characters are funny, the story easy to follow, and all the colors and jokes make it entertaining for the whole family. I highly recommend it, and if you are a LOTR fan to begin with, the humor will be ...
