Very Bad Things203 reviews
Christian Slater, Daniel Stern

Polygram Filmed Entertainment, 2002

Very Black Comedy
This very dark film is as good as black comedy gets. An accidental death (don't want to give too much away) at a bachelor party leads to a series of horrific events. Strange and grotesque scenarios occur - escalating into an unexpected ending. Christian Slater plays his role so well its scary. I highly recommend this film - but with a warning: Its not for the faint-hearted.

Very Best of One Step Beyond35 reviews
Charles Bronson, Robert Blake

Mill Creek Entertainment, 2007

NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS HOW I FEEL!!
This will be short and sweet. I simply cannot express how happy and completely satisfied I am with this purchase...I watched these episodes as a very young person and have always wanted to own copies. They are black and white but I haven't had a problem with the quality of the pictures at all. I LOOOOOOOOOVE my dvd's and can't believe the price..So far though, I have watched only 2 of the ...

A Very Long Engagement113 reviews
Audrey Tautou, Gaspard Ulliel

Warner Home Video, 2005

Excellent
With the possible exception of America's Claire Danes, the French actress Audrey Tautou is probably the most interesting actress alive to simply watch onscreen. It's not that Danes and Tautou are not beautiful, they are. But they are not gorgeous screen sirens; they have an accessibility to them that makes ordinary men feel that they could some day have a girl like that fall in love with them. ...

Very Special Christmas Special21 reviews
Jeff Dunham

IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT, 2008

Irreverant and proud of it! Can't want for this one!
There's no question Jeff and his friends make their laughs at the expense of others, including themselves, and they pull it off well. Jeff and his bunch are hilarious, and if they seem politically incorrect, I say good for them. As a service member, you bet me & mine take terrorism seriously, and still I have yet to meet a soldier that doesn't crack up when they hear "SILENCE! I KILL YOU!" ...

A Very British Gangster1 review
Donal Macintyre, Dominic Noonan

Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, 2008

The Story of Dominick Noonan
"A Very British Gangster" The Story of Dominick Noonan Amos Lassen Dominick Noonan is the head of Manchester, England's most powerful and most notorious crime family and is the center of Donal MacIntyre's powerful documentary, "A Very British Gangster". He has been behind bars more times than he has been a free man. In this amazing film, we learn how he got his reputation but we see ...

The Very First Noel37 reviews
Steve Twitchell

Genius Entertainment, 2006

Great for Little Kids!
This movie is great! My 4 year old nephew just loves it. Before he always associated christmas with Santa and Reindeer but now he is totally different. He just started going to church and I took him on christmas eve and as the priest was finished telling the story of the nativity on the way home my nephew said "just like my movie". If you want to get younger kids interested in why we really have ...

The Very Thought of You44 reviews
Monica Potter, Rufus Sewell

Miramax, 1999

Fun Movie for Anyone
The Very Thought of You is a sweet, cute, and fun film that has a good cast and characters you just get interested in for no apparent reason besides the fact that they are there. It does seem highly coincidental that a young woman could meet three guys who are all best friends over the course of a couple days but why let that stop you from watching the film? Suspension of disbelief is a wonderful ...

A Christmas must have

Very Annie Mary20 reviews

KOCH LORBER FILMS, 2004

Very Annie Mary
I love this movie. However, the ad for it does not state whether or not it is closed captioned. Since I need closed captioned I was diappointed when I received it to find out that it is not closed captioned. You might want to consider putting this info in your ad regarding each movie. Thanks.

A Very Brady Sequel44 reviews
Shelley Long, Gary Cole

Paramount, 2003

Absolute must see for Brady fans
Another of the rare breed of sequels-better-than-the-original movies, A Very Brady Sequel continues with the idea of the 70's Brady's being stuck in the present (in this case, the mid-90's) from the first film. While the original movie was very funny (grunge music nonwithstanding), the total lack of a plot was a pretty obvious hole. This time around we're actually treated to a decent ...

Miramax, 2007

"Our Very Own' is the new "American Graffiti"
REVIEW: "Our Very Own' is the new "American Graffiti" Monday, August 15, 2005 By Brian Mosely Cameron Watson's film, "Our Very Own," is a wonderful, heartfelt and true-to-life tribute to the town and the people of Shelbyville; the place that gave him the inspiration to reach for the top and get there by coming back home to tell his unique story. As someone who grew up in neighboring ...

My Little Pony - A Very Minty Christmas22 reviews
Chiara Zanni, Kelly Sheridan

Paramount, 2005

A Sweet and Fun Christmas Movie for All Ages
My Little Pony - A Very Minty Christmas is a great holiday movie overall. The songs have that old fashioned holiday spirit charm (with the exception of the fun "Socks" song). The movie is about one clumsy little pony who breaks the beacon of their Christmas celebration, the "Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane" which guides Santa to Ponyville every year. With that broken and the threat of no ...

Winnie the Pooh - A Very Merry Pooh Year8 reviews
Ken Sansom, Bob Joles

Walt Disney Video, 2003

Happy New Year, Pooh and Friends!
Actually, more like New Year's and Christmas, as that's what this DVD features. The story begins with an opening segment in which Pooh Bear hides a present he has for Piglet. Then our friends gather together and tell little Roo about a past Christmas. This segment comes from the special "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too," featuring the characters from "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." ...

A Very British Coup19 reviews
Ray McAnally, Alan MacNaughton

Acorn Media, 2003

Perhaps not so dated after all?
I ordered this 3 years ago, but it wasn't until today that I made time to sit down and watch it. I saw it originally when it aired in the US back in the late 80s, and only vaguely remembered that I thought it was very impressive, and that the end was, for some reason I couldn't remember, very disturbing. Although there are many comments that "A Very British Coup" is excellent, but dated, I ...
