Looney Tunes, Golden collection volume ll
This brings me back to a time when cartoones were a Saturday morning tradition. A time when parents got up and watched cartoons WITH their children, and everyone enjoyed them. Today, cartoons are mostly for adult viewing. They teach kids about fighting and blood spurting from wounds, or that backtalting parents, bad language etc. is acceptable behavior. Granted that there is violence in these ...

Stereotypes aside..
I am tired of a world that is so PC that we see cartoonists being killed for some religion. These were never taken literally by any 8 year older I knew in the fities or sixties. But let's get serious, if it means fun, it's better to show nudity, profanity or anti-moral issues than some cayote being blown up by an acme whatchamacallit. Shame on me...but thse are classic laughter.

Volume 3... Still pushing forward on this great series...
Volume 3 of the series starts with a very humourous introduction that recaps the first 25 episodes due to a "mistake" made by Naruto. It then introduces the new opening song... which is a very addictively awesome song. In my oppinion one of the best openings I've heard from any series, animated or not. Volume 3 takes the viewer into the forest of death where the main villian for the series is ...

this one is alright, but..........
this is alright, but if they were smart, they would have organized each character into their own dvd sets. first off, they needed to put the other two abbott and costello parody cartoons on with the one they amazingly did add on this set! secondly, they keep ignoring foghorn leghorn, volume 6 better have a whole dvd with a good 20 of those. but these volumes are sloppy, i dont want some 30 year ...

on Lady Tsunade who is in line to become the 5th Hokage, if she can get over her well known losers streak when it comes to gambling and skipping out on her debts. She's one heck of a fighter but has a slight issue with the sight of blood and this in explained and all other things about her dark and storied past. It makes for a great addition to this series along with her and Master Jiraiya's ...

Two thumbs up from S & E
Released between Heathers and True Romance, this movie is an often forgotten Christian Slater classic. Full of teen angst BS, it's also a heart-felt story with believable characters on all sides. If you didn't see it before the age of 20, you probably will think it's juvinile in it's outlook, but if you did, it's a nice reminder of how it felt to grow up post Reagan and pre internet.

Batman In Japan
Warner Brothers did this season of the famous Batman animated series as a Japanese anime. For the most part, it is a great season. The reason? Cos it was kind of like Doctor Who, in that it didn't have too many floppy episodes, but even when it did, they didn't necessarilly suck. But looking at some of the great ones, you can't help but love the good storylines and superior animation. The Joker ...

The best of what is so far five very good sets
At the time I am writing this something short of 400 people have already put their two cents in, so I won't bore you with the details yet again. Let me just say that having viewed all five sets, this one is the best and is the one to start with if you don't know if you'll want to buy the others. It has the very best of the Looney Tune cartoons on it, concentrated in the peak years of 1948-1953. ...

Batman: is an excellent adventure cartoon series
I have got the first two series and I found them interesting and exciting and the animation is very well done and look very realistic and the voice actors for the characters are on par Kevin Conroy by this time was getting more confident with peoviding the voice for both Bruce Wayne/ Batman and Effrem Zimbelist Jr for Alfred was also supurb because he wasn't the first choice for the character. ...

Some of the best animated action ever made...
Forget DBZ... THIS right here is some of the best animated action ever made. Volume 4 really kicks the action up a notch, and gives fans a REAL chance to fall in love with other characters. Volume 4 takes the route of holding a tournement between the young shinobi, and what a tournement it is. Meshing action, humour and intense drama into one perfect ball, this box set is not one to be missed by ...

Neat! Complete!
The Addams Family DVDs were a major hit at this household. The show captured Chas. Addams' quirky style of cartooning and the actors portrayed the various family members to a "T" (A?). For those too young to remember the show, this is a great series to get. Clever, funny, and droll at the same time. One of the best 60s shows.

I love Donald Duck
I really love Donald Duck and I have waited during many years to have the opportunity to buy an only Donald Duck DVD. If you like the style of Walt Disney cartoons, it is really a good one. For me, these are also souvenirs of my youth. It is really a good DVD and the bonus with some interviews are very well done. It is a product of quality. Micheline Anne Montreuil

Quality!
This is a quality product. From the actors/actresses, film quality and content this was one of the best sex videos my wife and I have seen. We have been together 14 years and had not watched one of these type videos in about 5 or 6 years because we had just got fed up with the poor quality of what we were seeing. Because of the reviews we gave this one a shot and were pleasantly surprised. If you ...

Great New Story Arc
If it weren't for the great characters and solid comedy that is delivered in each volume, this series would definitely fall into the `just another shonen' category. Twenty four episodes in though, I'm still finding myself interested in these characters and what happens to them next. I can't imagine that anyone who has watched this far into the series hasn't been sold on it yet but I know some ...

Remind us why it's good; then make it better
These DVDs are the only ridiculously overpriced cartoon series I would purchase (or ask for as gifts) before marketers came to their senses and realized almost no season of anything should be worth more than 15 to 20 dollars. The guys who made this bothered to read Batman books. Old ones. New ones. Good ones. Dorky ones. Then they thought about what made it cool. They borrowed all the fun ...
