This is simply a fantastic comedy. It's brilliance is so well-disguised by an outlandish plot, that many people just don't get it. If you can't pick up on the subtleties of this movie, you are simply missing the point. I'll say this, you will either love this movie or hate it. This entertaining western starring the "Duke" in his later years won him an Oscar. A great film made when stars were stars and they could do no wrong. This film is fun, well paced and holds up really well. I have the older collector's edition from 2000 and the print is crystal clear! The DVD has some extras, but I'm sure the newer release has some added goodies.
