Winnie the Pooh - A Very Merry Pooh Year8 reviews
Ken Sansom, Bob Joles

Walt Disney Video, 2003

Happy New Year, Pooh and Friends!
Actually, more like New Year's and Christmas, as that's what this DVD features. The story begins with an opening segment in which Pooh Bear hides a present he has for Piglet. Then our friends gather together and tell little Roo about a past Christmas. This segment comes from the special "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too," featuring the characters from "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." ...

Winnie the Pooh

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2006

So Just What Have We Got Here?
With the packaging job Disney has done on this, it can be kind of hard to tell from the cover just what exactly is on this DVD and who might enjoy it. So let's get that out of the right away. What's actually on this disc is nothing less than four stories from "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." This series aired on ABC in the 80's and 90's and can still be seen today on Disney Channel in the ...

Winnie the Pooh - Shapes & Sizes3 reviews
Winnie the Pooh

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2006

Great!
My son is a little over two and is obsessed with all things Tigger. I picked this up for him on my trip back to the States thinking it would be highly irritating to adults, but that he would love it and maybe learn from it. My sister picked up three Sesame Street DVDs and one Wiggles DVD and I would watch/listen to this Disney disc a thousand times before putting one of the others on while I ...

GREAT FOR CHILDREN
My 1 and 3 year old watch this over and over again. They enjoy it and the best part is that the dvd will play and start over on it's own. That means I don't have to mash play every time they want to watch it again and again.

A 'Must Have" Movie for Winnie the Pooh Lovers!
Every family that has a child who loves Winnie the Pooh should have this movie. It is the true story of the little real-life bear that inspired the stories. There is one war scene that might be too much for younger children, but I'd think kids from five year old and up, who watch it with their parents who can reassure them if they become frightened of the war, should be able to enjoy it. There ...

The Great, Incomparable Winnie the Pooh
I grew up watching the original Disney cartoons, and this DVD brings back wonderful, vivid memories. Based on the classic book by A. A. Milne, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh delightfully brings to life Christopher Robin, The Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh, and all of his friends. Included are the all the timeless favorites: Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree (1966), the ...

Another classic for the Thanksgiving and Christmas collection
This is another great DVD to add to your Thanksgiving AND Christmas video collection. It has a touch of both holidays in it. With the way Thanksgiving is pretty much forgotten these days, it is nice to have a few Thanksgiving themed holiday specials to watch. The transition from video to digital was very nice. No editing that I could tell between the versions. It is defintiely worth ...

Jim Cummings, John Fiedler

please don't underestimate
I loved this movie as a kid, and while I remember it being frightening in some moments and certainly sad at others, it definitely didn't scar me for life. It's a thoughtful movie, and it stuck with me through the years, so I stand by it. Long live Winnie and no, children's movies shouldn't be happy all the time.

Roo's movie

one of our favorite toys (and we have a ton)
I purchased this phone for my two year old. she loves it and even my 5 year old gets a kick out of it. it is very durable -- no problems and we have put it through a lot of use in the last 9 months. lots of great functions... the kids love to dance around to the music function. there is a memory game for older kids. and for the younger set, lots of "find it" type games teaching letters, ...

Wonderful DVD

Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie39 reviews

Buena Vista Home Entertainment / Disney, 2005

Well Done Halloween Movie!
My 3 year old adores Winnie the Pooh and loved this movie. Many complain of the older television clip of 'Boo to You, Too, Winnie the Pooh' being inserted in the movie but really...who cares. It's an approriate theme-related clip that fits in well with the movie and even if one had seen it before (which we had not), what kid doesn't watch these movies over and over and over again? So again I ...

Amazing music, my 22 month old LOVES it!
This is by far our son's favorite video. He is thrilled by the wonderful, orchestral music, and the funny scenes with the characters. I'm sure he doesn't understand the entire plot, but for sheer enjoyment, I wish I had 10 movies like this! Highly recommend!
