How to Eat Fried Worms (New Line Platinum Series)34 reviews
Luke Benward, Hallie Kate Eisenberg

New Line Home Video, 2006

Classic for tweens... and their parents, too!
I bought this movie for my kids (7 - 12 y/o). They loved the entire movie, and I can't put enough emphasis on their facial expressions at watching the main character eat worms as part of a dare. I fear for the worms in our own yard! Highly recommended as a clean, family movie.

Diary of a Worm... and Four More Great Animal Tales (Scholastic Video Collection)5 reviews
Diary of a Worm

New Video Group, 2007

Fun DVD
My 6 yo likes to follow along with the "Diary of a Worm" video with the book. Antole is a pleasant story and serves as an example of how not to catagorize people (although Antole is a mouse). Another winning DVD!

The Lair of the White Worm45 reviews
Amanda Donohoe, Hugh Grant

Lions Gate, 2003

Campy Cult Movie with the usual cast of creeps and evildoers
A cult movie that will thrill Hugh Grant Fans and anyone who likes Ken Russell movies. A lot of the regular cast and crew. An archaeologist digs up a massive skull of an ancient snake or white worm. A strange woman moves into the neighbourhood and the local lord's girlfriend disappears as does a boy scout. This movie has snakes, snake charmers, naked priestesses, innocent young women hostages who ...

Lair of the White Worm

Can we stop for a bite?
Angus Flint (Peter Capaldi), archaeologist is rooting around an old convent when he finds a rather toothy skull of a supposedly unrecorded beastie. He may have uncovered a lot more. Some times legend is based on more than facts. And what you don't know may bite you. I have to admit I did not read the book. I have seen other Ken Russell movies; but I do not recognize his style. However ...

Worm DVD

Adam knows... Yes, he knows. He was a high school kid that thought he had all the answers. Cool friends, girlfriend, but no time for the LORD. Then, he died... and went to hell. Is hell real? Ask Adam. He knows. WORM will make everyone think about their own eternity. A good film to show to your youth group. (31 minutes)

Shatter Dead30 reviews
Sarah K. Bizek, Worm Miller

Sub Rosa Studios, 2002

A Different Opinion
I wanted to give a different opinion since several reviews were negative. Shatter Dead is NOT a zombie movie like the Romero movies or 28 Days Later or the Dawn remake. All those are GREAT movies, but this one is different. This is an artsy movie. The opening segment supposedly explains things, but if I hadn't read the box, I wouldn't have understood. Don't expect horror. Expect ...

Witchfinder General54 reviews
Vincent Price, Ian Ogilvy

MGM (Video & DVD), 2007

Classic horror still chills the blood
This is a story of persecution and revenge filled with Vincent Price's manic leering, which has never been better. This is great entertainment, dark brutal fun.

The Worm Eaters4 reviews
Patricia Alkaitis, Lindsay Armstrong Black

Image Entertainment, 2001

HERB ROBINS IS FUNNY! FUNNY! FUNNY!!
Bill Murry in Caddy Shack meets Motel Hell! This Robins guy is a great comedy actor!! The reason I did not give it a five star is because the supporting acters are not very good. It's too bad a major film company did not pick up this gem. The worm eating is old hat: you see this on many TV shows. But seeing the characters turn into half worms, plus Robins, make this film. The commentary by ...

Dan Buechler, Mark Cartier

Awesome awesomosity.
I watched this movie with zero expectations. I left it realizing that it's possible to make a great movie using only friends, a digital camcorder, and christmas money from family.

Hermie and Friends: A Fruitcake Christmas2 reviews
Hermie & Friends

NCircle Entertainment, 2007

Great story, perfect for the whole family!
This is a beautiful story about the true meaning of Christmas. The story is told with a healthy does of humor, and my whole family enjoys it. This series is the best, and I definitely recommend this Chrismas DVD.

Cereal Worm Holes

Unconscious People "don't get it"
You must have your mind WIDE OPEN to be able to approach the topic of crop circles. Those of you serious enough about the topic already know that. I personally know several of the researchers interviewed on this two disk set, and I have also personally been out into the fields (in England) with these researchers. Suffice it to say the armchair quarterback who gave his one star review lives in ...

National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2: College @ Sea9 reviews
Gable Carr, Patrick Cavanaugh

Lions Gate, 2006

Better than I was expecting
I did not expect much out of this movie when I saw it. I was not a big fan of Dorm Daze 1 but I decided to give this a try. Just like many other small budget films it had a cheasy story line but they made the best out of it. The movie had great comedic scenes and plenty of awkward moments. The movie is similar to other college movies in that there are sexy women, screw ups and stoners. The main ...

London Voodoo8 reviews
Keijo Nyrhinen, Jeremi Cockram

Heretic Films, 2004

A Superb Directing Debut!
Robert Pratten's terrific indie film, London Voodoo, is a subtle and intelligent adult horror film in the spirit of Nicholas Roeg's Don't Look Now. Voodoo has never seemed less a cliche. Terrific acting performances, creepy out-of-the-corner of-your-eye editing and camera work, and a chilling gothic score by Steve Severin of Siouxsie and the Banshees fame all make London Voodoo a unique ...
