This is a fantastic burner. Super-fast with lots of options. And although I like the idea of the Lightscribe, but the discs currently available are too dark in color to see the printing clearly.

Unit works fine. I particularly like the tray. It is relatively fast and quiet for both DVD / CD burning. Installation is fairly straight forward (I have Win XP machine), just remember to make it the master device if you have two DVD/CD drives in order for it to operate at rated speeds.

Works well, looks great, good bang for the buck.
Did not load Windows when I first took it out of the box. I found the hard drive connector had come loose. After I re connected it things just breezed along. This was purchased as a game machine for my grandson and he reports that it works well. Some of the graphics were a little shaky playing "Oblivion" but he reports all ok now.

works very well (fingers crossed) (so far I've had 3 other DVD R's fail in the past 2 years). It's the new SATA connection. worked right away no problems at all. BUT you need to purchase a SATA cable which is cheap enough so I feel they should have included it - they do not tell you this and that caused a 2 week delay in getting it set up. Not so good.
