Great Improvement for Vista
I installed this in a Compaq with Windows Vista that originally had 1 Gig of RAM. The memory is awesome, but as with many computers, the installation was slightly cramped. Once installed, all of the memory registered immediately, and the changes have only been positive. I am very pleased with this product.

rippin' fast memory for my quad core...
Used in my high end DIY build along with a Q6600 and (2) 8800GTXs. Only concern was that the 680i mobo did not say that this memory was SLI ready. Other than that...everything about the memory was great for OC-ing and performance.

Great DDR2 RAM by Corsair.
i use this ram ddr2, 800 speed, pc6400, and i use 2 x 1 gigabyte sticks. It's very fine ram, and i got the C4 version, for faster timing. C4 version is recommended, and, btw/ this ram can be had for very cheap, these days.

The heat sinks literally fell off during installation. Corsair is a great company with fine products and the problem I had may be an isolated incident but I will never know because I sent the memory back and got a different brand.

i had 2 gigs stock, and 2 slots left to fill... with the total of 4 gigs my computer is blazing fast... some repots have said that the computer will not see the full 4 gigs (true) but dont worry you have 4 gigs and that is the fact, about .5 gigs is allocated, and dedicated to run vista... you will notice an improvement no matter what.
