Takes some practice, though
These are cute, and the perfect size for my almost 2-yo. the sound is not too much- you can adjust the volume on your DVD player/computer as well as an additional volume control on the headset (well, on the cord portion). it did take some getting used to for the kiddo, so i suggest "practicing" at home before the trip. it worked for us!

I bought these headphones for my daughter for a airplane trip. She had never used headphones before and she's not big into wearing hats, hairbands, or hair clips so I wasn't sure that she's wear these. Quiet, comfortable, adjustable
Got two sets - Tiger & Panda - for our nearly 4 and 6 1/2 year old. They fit great, are comfortable & quiet and the individual volumn control is great. We use them w/the portable DVD player in the car. Nice and quiet! Cute too.
