Great for what it is
Just got this lock, and am very happy with it. Fits onto my nu HP seamlessly. Lock has gotten a bad rap from other reviewers because of unrealistic expectations in my opinion. I'm sure cable can be snapped easily, probably even with heavy-duty scissors. What I know: The E2180's only stepping is M0. It was released much more recently the first E2100's. The M0 stepping is NOT a step backwards rather it is a slight improvement in among other things V-Core or CPU voltage core. Other difference between the E2180 & the E2160/E2140 (either L2 or M0 stepping) is the Clock Multiplier: The value which is Multiplied by the the Front Side Bus (FSB). ...
