This DVI-HDMI cable is compatible with all DVI/HDMI-bearing devices from DVD players to LCD monitors to video game systems. I had used this cable running from an ATI Radeon HD 3870 graphics card installed in my PC to a Sharp Aquos LCD TV. I use them in my car as an extension from my in-dash stereo for my ipod and also as an earphone extension for my office PC to my desk. No issue at all. It just works. Cheapest I found online. Surprised to receive the order the next day (Purchased directly from Amazon). Length (6 ft) is just right for normal use. Will buy again unless I find a better deal.

Nicely made cable
This cable is RGB not component video. The reviewer that stated the pigtails were not shielded was mistaken, they are. If you are trying to connect AV equipment to a computer monitor this is not the cable. If you have a home theater computer with separate Red Green and Blue outputs and your monitor has a VGA input this is the cable you need.

I was a bit skeptical of this cable at first because of how thin it is. However, it works perfectly, and the price is awesome. There's really no need to pay more. When you think about it, optical signals aren't subject to the same type of interference as traditional electrical signals. Thus, you don't need beefy shielding for a clear signal. Less material is also better for the environment!
