Perfect Every Time
Perfect burns every disc. I have used hundreds of these without a problem. Verbatim reliability outperforms and outlasts all of the competition. Printing to the hub is nice plus, the final printed disc always looks and plays professionally. I have tried other brands and always regret it, too many wasted burns.

I bought two of these for my Dell Inspiron 8500. They actually worked (both of them ;-D), and well, too. I had trouble finding 8X DVD's locally, most are 16X or above. My wife has a Roadstor DVD writer which cannot handle the faster DVD's. So, I was happy to find them online through one of the Amazon sub-tier suppliers. Two 50PK's arrived in a few days in good condition; the box was somewhat crushed but the DVD's were OK. A little extra packaging material around the DVD cases would be good.

The reason I purchased Taiyo Yuden discs is because the Plextor site has a list of "approved media," and T.Y. ranks very high in a number of categories. They show full 52X on Plex-Tools and Nero tests, so it's not just my imagination that they run fast and without error. The white surface offers a good background for marking artist's name and title with a Sharpie marker. Good discs.

Yet to make a coaster
The 10-packs of Memorex DVD+R is what I usually buy. It's the only media where I've yet to make a coaster, of the several I've tried. With some media, you can burn it all the way through and find one of your various DVD players may not read it, due to the tolerances involved. I haven't experienced it with Memorex, yet. I use a Phillips DVDRW228 burner.

I bought a box of Khypermedia DVD-R media last November during a promotion where they were essentially free after the mail-in rebate. I probably wouldn't have risked this brand under other circumstances, but I was very pleasantly surprised. They worked perfectly on my Panasonic burner. Not a coaster in the lot!

Great Disc at Fantastic Price what more
I bought a spindle to try out and so far have burned about 15 discs and to my surprise I have never had any coaster. I checked the manufacture ID and was suprise it was MCC (Mitsubishi Chemical Company). I currently burn DVD video on them and they look like the original. I am quite happy that I ordered another spindle before amazon discontinued them.

I've used this brand, and never made a coaster. I would prefer non 'painted' lettering, so I can write over 100% of the disks, instead of writing around the lettering. But at least I've never wasted a disk!

This batch of fujifilm uses Ricoh technology for their dvd's!!! This spindle arrived from Amazon with the protective shrink rap missing and the cover "unlocked" BUT so far I have used approximately half of the media and no burn issues. Good, solid product for your video burning needs!
