Works and it's Cheap!
This is a much better deal than buying the whole retail pack with a bunch of crap nobody wants. Tested working with the new vx8550 LG Chocolate Version 3 firmware. Use BitPim and you're set. I however could not get BitPim to recognize my phone using vista 64 bit. Swapped over to my laptop running 32 bit windows XP and it worked like a charm

Adequate, but not a real replacement.
The product is advertised as a replacement for the OEM LG VX8550 battery. However, this battery is a 600 mAH versus the original 800. On charging, it rarely keeps the 4 bar rating for long and of course it discharges much more rapidly. It was a good buy however.

It plugs in, and it charges fine, as long as you don't move... at all.
