A lot of USB extensions don't work with USB hubs at long distance. That is not the case here. I piggy backed two of them to a USB hub and it worked great even while running multiple devises at once (external hard drive, security camera etc.)

Don't buy the RiteAV RCA Splitter Male to Female!
Ok, well I first bought the RiteAV RCA Splitter Male to Female and when I tried to plug the microphone end into my laptop, it wouldn't fit, so I bought this one (And have now ordered another one online at Amazon) and because of how it's a 3.5mm to RCA cable, it fits into any microphone jack. I was sceptical when I bought this now I watch internet movies and tv all the time. Easy to hook up to a hdmi cable in seconds. Does cut a small amount of in the conversion but I think that has more to do with apple or a setting on my tv. The cord is much longer than the picture too. don't hesitate on buying this its worth it.
