I was concerned by some of the negative reviews, but this thing works just fine. OCR is remarkable. Save yourself a few dollars and just get the CardScan Executive version, it comes with both Windows and Mac software (you need to go to their website to retrieve a Mac serial number using the included Windows serial number).

Not a single bit lost
It was amazing to finally see a product work as described. First the cable was actually 10.1 ft instead of just 10 ft as advertised. That's always a bonus. And then after plugging the cable into the ports, no bits were see to fall off the wire. Great product.

Excellent time saver and organizer
This CardScan is terrific! I make notes on the backs of cards reminding where I've met a person, when and any follow-up necessary. This cardscan not only lets you scan the front of the card, but the back as well. It also has a separate 'notes' tab. Great organizational tool, light weight, fits easily into laptop bag for portability. Excellent product.

I received this scanner as a birthday gift and I love it. Our collection of business cards cluttering up our wallets, drawers, etc. are now gone! This was incredibly easy to use once it was installed. Since I'm not very savvy about installing new software, I called tech support for help and they did an excellent job helping me get it done.
