i dont recommend buying this lens for your Lumix camera unless you have the lens adaptor. i have a DMC-FZ18k and the lens adaptor required for it will not be available from panasonic until mid-febuary. Test your luck on ebay but i'd rather wait and buy the adaptor for $30 than much more. The hood adaptor does not work for attaching the lens, as advertised. very disappointing.

be careful with the off switch
Regardint the Opteka HD(tm) Slide Copier for DMC-fz18(K and S), I suggest you attach this unit while the camera is on only. Turning the camera off retracts the lens. This copier is attached to that lens. I worry that damage will result to the camera when the lens is held in place instead of being allowed to retract.

The quality of the telephoto lense was very poor. Pictures were blurry with a ring around the edge. I was sent the wrong adapter for the telephoto lense so I was never able to use. I sent product back for refund and 3 weeks later I'm still waitng.
