Great for gaming
I hooked this up to my PS3 with an DVI to HDMI cable. It works great as a cheap alternative to an HDTV if the only reason you want one is gaming. I also use it for computing, the widescreen really clears up your desktop space. The viewing angle could be wider, but this seems pretty common among the HD widescreen monitors I've seen.
