Excellent device
In California, we can't use the suction cup device on our windshield. It's against the law. this product that sits on the dashboard is terrific. I thought it would be big and bulky, but it's not. It holds my Garmin GPS system beautifully. I would highly recommend this product.

Does the job
Works fine, allow my Nuvi 760 to be used while charging, instead of going into USB mode. One thing I have learned by chance is that when you use a standard USB cable to connect to a computer, you can get it to go into non-USB mode like the charger, but it's not always straightforward. I've done it by disconnecting, then reconnecting the cable after a few seconds - I guess it gets confused.

From a Physician's perspective
I have used Palm PDAs for a number of years. I tried a device running Microsoft software a few years ago - far slower and harder to use. The Tx works well with epocrates and Skyscape for Griffith's 5 min clinical consult and so on. Browser software is a little slow, but then again I can't fit a laptop in my shirt pocket.

Nuvi 660,, quit moving your cables when changing cars
I bought this because I didnt need te fm transmitter cord for all my vehicles as local traffic updates are not available yet in my vicinity and the power cords with the FM transmitter is like $90.. This plugs in and powers the base just like the more expensive one does and now I have the ability to move my Nuvi from base to base without moving the cord in all three vehicles.....:-)
