Great Handheld GPS
I purchased this GPS for hiking. The GPS quickly aquires satelites (Much more quickly than my antiquated Garmin III Plus). The Barometric altitude feature is great for anyone interested in hiking in the high country. Very Accurate! The electronic compass is a nice feature as well. Over all a great product from one of the leaders in GPSr.

I am using the 10x with a Palm TX and with Garmin Mobile XT as software and they work fantastic, is just like using a nuvi or Street Pilot. Very quick to access the satellites, I have an old Etrex Legend and it take a lot of time ot get a position, but the 10x just does it in a minute.

The instructions required this puck to be ripped up and the working innards to be relocated to a tiny project box along with Nikon's MC35 cable innards.
