You have to position it so that the bottom will rest lightly on your dashboard, otherwise the unit jiggles too much while the vehicle is in motion. But that's a very small issue. The grip on the windshield is excellent and I like the way the bracket piece swivels so that I can get the GPSr on and off easily.

Loved it right out of the box. Well thought out, user freindly. Used it for geocaching and it took me within 6'. I could see other peoples tracks in the snow that missed the geocach and never found it. Very little bounce on most trips. amazing reciever
This unit is an amazing GPS reciever, it will aquire sattelites even sitting indoors. This will replace my last garmin which was a very good entry level device, but would lose signal occasionally when under the canopy of trees while 4-wheeling.
