Hard Drive replacement for mac
I put this in an older Powerbook and it works great. A definite, noticeable improvement. I didn't realize it when I purchased this disk, but Apricorn is an OEM for a number of manufacturers. The disk I received was a Toshiba, which I thought was a mistake for the price. It turns out it was made by Apricorn. The drive is fast and quiet - I'd buy another.

Perfection that is hard to achieve with electronics...
It took a total of about 20 minutes and I had a higher capacity HDD running with all of the EXACT data from my old drive. This could not have worked any better and I am 100% pleased. Fantastic!!! Also works as a great backup tool for your data.

Never had a problem in almost 4 months.
This is the greatest investment especially for those who like to record several HD movies and events such as UFC in HD. Only downside to the technology is the inability to distinguish what data lays on the DVR from data in the Xpander. Also my co worker who had his crash was sent a brand new one within a couple weeks by the manufacturer. Also 5.1 sound works perfectly normal.

Perfect for the digi scrapbooker!
I bought this to store my digital scrapbooking files because there were just too many to bog down my PC. I filled up an 8 gig flash drive in about two weeks and needed something bigger. I had no idea that you could fit so much information in such a small space. Its only slightly bigger than the 8 gig I had and holds 10 times as much. Now I can really play!

This has been a good product overall. Nice neoprene pouch, great to have an integrated USB cable. No complaints for now. Backup software though doesn't seem as good, at least for me, I've never had any experience with other backup software, but i'd like to have more compression.
