This cable does exactly what I needed it to do. I used it to connect my Canon HV30 to my MacBook Pro and then import footage into iMovie '08. No hassles whatsoever. The cord is plenty long enough and looks sturdy enough to hold up for as long as I'll ever need to use it.

The other reviewers did not read the first sentence in the description. Your computer MUST have TV-Out capability for this cable to work, which is rare. Once I figured out my devices, and updated the drivers that were more current on it's website, everything works pretty well. Now, the 100 Meter range is a bit misleading, as my house is not that big and it doesn't pick up devices thru walls and such, but the dongle is on the back of my PC in a cabinet of a roll-top desk and BT is not meant to be as long range as Wi-Fi.
