Good GPS for the price.
This a very good GPS for the price. Quick satellite reception. Very quick rerouting calculation when I go off track. Extremely simple to use. Maps are more or less accurate though need some improvement. The only drawback this GPS is that if you want to go a destination from a place which is not on the map it will ask you to go to the nearest main road, but hey its an inexpensive budget ...

Not the best
Unlike other reviewers we have had no problem using the receiver with other software. I have always liked Teletype software and it works with this receiver. As for the RM software, it is pretty good at finding and sorting points of interest in towns that we visit. Worthless for routing as mentioned before you need an internet connection.

I have had this little unit for two years and think its pretty darn good for its size and money. Its directed me to Yellowstone park from Bozeman airport with no problem. Its directed my girlfriend back from a camping trip with no problem..Its a neat little unit that works very well..I like it alot and im glad I bought it. I seldom use it but its nice to know i have it and it works.

check garmin c330 before buying this
I used to use Navman ICN 630 & this is an improved version in the sense that this has all maps etc but same interface. Navman is Good but i think Garmin c330 is much better & $300 cheaper. I got rid of my ICN 630 & am using C330. I am very pleased that i did. See my review of c330 as well. It wins handsdown over any other GPS for automotive purposes.

It made a lot more sense for me to buy this lower cost item and use with the laptop I already own than to buy another gadget that might be out dated soon.
