Less is More
I replaced my clunky, five speaker home theatre with this. It has worked flawlessly. I have it hooked up to my Sharp Aquos and the quality couldn't be better and it dosent take over my living room. Big equipment is like a big truck. It says there is something lacking in the owner. This is appropriate technology, does what it sets out to do and does it well.

Outrageously Great Deal at $99.
I bought this "micro home theater system" off the J&R Music and Computer World website last week. UPS delivered it earlier today and I just set it up a couple of hours ago. Brand Philips is Great, but this model is more entry level or budget conscience buyer
Almost all my electronics are Philips but I didn't buy this model MCD703/37. I went for the MCD908/37. Of course, it 3X more expensive. Nonetheless, if this is your first shelf system or money is an issue, this is a great system for the price ($130 or less-tax, s&h included).
