After over 10 years of use mine are still going strong
I have owned my Sony MDR-W08L headphones for over 10 years. They have never failed me and are so comfortable to wear. I didn't even know they still made them until I was searching Amazon.com for headphones for my husband. I totally recommend these, they are excellent!

I have spent hundreds of dollars searching for a headset that stays in my ear AND doesn't hurt. Most are too large, apparently I have a very small ear. The ones that have the 'eyeglass' type and hang on your ear? Well apparently my lobes aren't high enough to hold those on. Good and Cheap Work-out Earphones
I work out 4 times a week, and listen to music during every workout. Earbuds and similar over-the-ear phones don't get it, I'm too active and spend all my time adjusting the darn things.
