I have read some unfair reviews on this machine. I say unfair because I love it. I own a 9/11 Museum in Manhattan and just purchased this. It make copies very fast, has a paper feed table that is unbreakable because of the crutch that was ingeniously created below it (our last one broke) and we have faxed up to 30 page docs for billing at a time without the machine getting jammed. I purchased my Brother HL-2040 ink-jet printer from Amazon.com. It has worked flawlessly all the time. That is the reason I decided to buy Brother's DRUM when it was time to replace the old one instead of buying another printer - despite the high cost of a new drum. So far it seems that the new drum will give me equally good performance.

Wow! Great Multi-Function!
I bought the Brother 7820N 9 months ago and love it! I would highly recommend this MFC to anyone that wants a multifunction device and does not need to print in color. It is cheap to operate and is always ready to go. No cleaning, no purchasing new print cartridges. I plan to pick up this same printer for my father for Christmas.

I have owned this printer for a few months and have been very happy with it. It works very well with a mac, it's very easy to use and the printing quality is great. The scanner works well too and its really easy to scan or make photocopies. It's very compact and takes as little desk space as an all-in-one can take. Especially for mac users, I think brother all-in-one's are the best ones.
