I've only had this shredder about a month, but so far it is fantastic. I no longer have to open all those credit card offers in order to shred them. It even tears through the ones with plastic cards inside. Don't know if it actually does 8 sheets at a time, but it hasn't stopped with anything that I have put through it. This is the best little computer accessory I have bought. My new laptop has its USB ports on the left and right at the front of the keyboard and I am always hitting anything that's in them.
