great sound, very clear
I bought this item to use with my 5G iPod and Griffin's iTalk Pro. It works perfectly and the quality of the sound is very clear with no hiss or clicks. I like the clothes pin style clip and the mic swivels to any direction for any suitable position. Highly recomend this product for your voice or music recordings. Tony Aldridge Longview Texas

Cool little gadget at an awesome price
I don't know whether this product is compatible with the newer ipods, but if you have a 2nd Generation ipod nano and want a voice-recorder, look no further. Did a lot of research and learned that this little gizmo is by far the best. And it sure is. At $20 can't go wrong.

iTalk is great
The Griffith iTalk Pro is super. It's a plug and go sort of thing, and I used correctly and successfully the first time I tried. The sound quality was amazing, really beyond what I expected. It worked perfectly inside my breast pocket with the default settings that came when it arrived, no adjustment needed. I have used it every day through a fifteen-week school term and it needs a charge about 1 ...

Exactly what I needed
I'm an opera singer and needed something to record voice lessons, coaching, and in a pinch... a demo. This fit the bill perfectly. The problem with another iPod recorder we had tried was that it didn't have the option to charge while recording... an absolute necessity given the demands recording has on the battery... but this unit does. My other criteria was that it be able to utilize my $100 ...

Griffin I-Talk for I-Pod
This is probably the best microphone I've owned for recording lectures. The recorded audio quality is superb (in high quality mode) in my I-pod Classic. In fact, the audio quality is close to professional. The only drawback is that (at least in high quality mode) the microphone cause the batteries in the I-pod to drain at a fast rate. At a full charge (on the I-pod), the recording time/battery ...

Easy to use and works great!
I can't believe what a great value this little gem is! I purchased it new for only $20. You just attach it to your iPod and bingo! your iPod becomes an easy-to-use, high-capacity voice recorder. It really couldn't be any easier to use. You're literally up and running in seconds, and the sound quality is terrific--crystal clear! It records very nicely, whether you're right up close to the ...

Pretty Good
"Voice Memos" are saved in mono WAV files which means it will fill up your iPod much faster than if it had the capability to be saved in MP3. In mono WAV format, I find that 1 minute of recording is equivalent to a 1MB file. I like the recorder for what I need to do-which is simply to hear meeting/lecture conversations again but not to reproduce or publish them. I've used it in one on one ...

Excellent tool
As a teacher of a differentiated group of high schoolers, I use this to record lectures into my iPod and then forward them by email to my students who cannot effectively take notes due to LD issues or processing challenges. The parents, too, can listen in and find out what it is that I say and how I explain the method. So far, the best tech use in my classroom!

Excellent Value!
I'm a professional piano technician and part-time musician. I use this mic (plugged into a Boss Micro BR recorder) for recording band rehearsals and gigs. It has a very nice clear, "transparent" sound quality and handles high volume levels with no problem.

Great little recorder, almost non functional speaker
I received the iPod Nano recording adapter and marveled at its design engineering, its a beauty, and functional with its gooseneck mike. Recording quality is quite good even on the lowest quality setting, but suffers just a little bit of hiss with low sound levels. Although I wasn't expecting much from the built in speaker, I was surprised when it produced no sound what so ever. After ...
