Good product and performance
Works very well. Be careful putting it down when in the woods... you will lose it because of the camoflauge color. I have lost one already due to the camoflaug color but I hope to have solved that by wrapping florescent orange tape around the antenna. Range is very good. Battery life is also good. I wish light on the chargers would go out when the batteries are charged but it doesn't.

Excellent Product. The communication is very clear. More clear than my cell phone. I was not able to get a lot of communication distance, but I do live up in the hills where even cell phone service can be touch and go. I was pleased to find that the provided batteries were already charged when I opened the package.

Easy to use, and fast, too!
I found the Midland AVP4 Dual Desk Top charger to be very easy to use. Plug the transformer in, plug into charger, drop radios in, voila! They're charging. Takes about 3 hours to fully charge after initial overnight charge; very satisfactory performance.

We have used two way radios at our work. We just started using these Motorola radios and they so far have the range we need. Also they are waterproof. Great here in Alaska. Highly recommend.

For the money; they're solid
Don't think you'll get advertised range out of any radio; that's under "perfect conditions" and "line of sight" (ie: over open water) We use these for hiking trips and "getting lost in the mall" and they work well; we had some 10 mile units and these definately "punch thru" much better.
