Solid piece will last longer then the eqipment you put on it.
First off the box was about 100+ pounds so be prepared! It shipped on a Monday and was at my office on Tuesday! Looks VERY sharp vs. my old Ikea junk. The glass is tempered and thick, the metal frame is as thick and and solid as it comes. The only downside is that its made in China, I'm sick of my money going overseas but what can you do. Simple and Sturdy
If you aren't looking for something fancy that pivots or extends but mounts your TV as close to the wall as possible this is the one for you. It comes with a good array of hardware for some securing options whatever the material of your walls. I was able to hang our TV in about 15 minutes ( not including the work of running cords and wires through the walls.)

Great Stands for Klipsch Quintet SL Speakers
After recently purchasing Klipsch Quintet SL speakers and finding the adjustable stands from a local big box store were far to flimsy to support them, I purchased these sturdy easily assembled stands and have been very impressed with the quality of the product. They can be filled to reduce resonance and increase weight and include a channel for hiding the wires: in all a well designed stand.

Excellent mount for flat screen. I came with many different types of screws and mounting bolts. It also contained a listing of televisions and the proper bolts for each. Also there was a reference to company website to look up televisions not listed for the proper bolts. I was very happy with the purchase as it was about $30 less than the typical mount at the big box store.

The item was perfect, just not what I ordered or wanted. Amazon says I ordered the wrong item and I had to pay return shipping and a re-stocking charge. I sent Amazon a copy of the original order confirmation and it did not say ceiling mount anywhere, as it didn't when I ordered them!
I doubt that I will ever order from Amazon again as this was an expensive time wasting event that I will never ...

Its so cool. I can move my 52 in Samsung LCD easily.I can tilt and slightly rotate tv. Once mounted the lcd will protrude 6 to8 in out from the wall before extending the arms(I didn't think about that)
Also your going to have to by an adapterwhich attaches to the tv which is then mounted to the contilever.
You may want consider buying the combo package. You my save a few bucks

This is a must have for Philip's flat TV users
A note to self and everyone who buys a Philips brand flat screen TV. Beware! Everything Philips makes is not standard for all stands. I found out the hard way when I tried and tried to get my screws to match. This adapter rocked! it was fast and easy and works well with the omnimount stand.

I purchased 4 of these in January 2008(two boxes). They are excellent stands for the money. They have a heavy base and are steady. I'm using them for my back and side speakers that weigh 4 pounds each. If your speakers are large and/or weigh more than 4 pounds....you need to look at the Sat2 model.
