Great Pedometer
This Pedometer is well worth the money. It is so much more accurate than cheaper ones purchased at retail stores. It has many features and extremely accurate as well as comfortable to wear. In addition to comfort it stays on during exercise and streching. After a few trys using other models I am so glad I purchased this brand.

Huge improvement over earlier version (MP120)
Swam a 1/2 mile and found this to be flawless: great sound, new, improved earbuds with ear loops really stay in place (during active crawl stroke)... no water in ear (added benefit for people like me who are prone to swimmer's ear). Bigger, easy to read screen with a much more user friendly menu interface (don't have to scroll thru all your songs...you can search by artist). I usually don't write ...

Cool product.
i used this product last weekend, and thought it worked well. steve and i were able to compare our jump time to each other--though i wish we didnt have to share the air pod. meant loaning it to him after every run. a lot of people on the mountain liked it and had never seen anything like it.

lanyard makes the difference
I have tried step-counters from several different companies. The feature that makes this one the best for me is the coiled lanyard which clips to my pocket, so when the pedometer slips off the top of my pants, it doesn't fall and break. SInce none of the clips are ever failsafe for fitting all kinds of garments without coming off, this is worth a lot. The pedometer is also very easy to set and ...

This is a great pedometer!
I liked the Acumen above all the others I have surveyed. I received this as a gift. It clips on and is easy to read. It measures steps, stride, and distance. I used it for my 10,000 steps program. I passed it on to a new walker and upgraded to the Pulse Mate by Acumen, because it is as good as this one with the added plus of counting calories burned, miles and the PULSE METER which helps ...

sportbrain-less
Sportbrain is a GREAT service with a loyal following and the best way I have ever found to egg myself into fitness. The company, on the other hand, is less than stellar. It died about a year and a half ago from a lack of profit model. It was revived about three weeks ago, but seems to have died again. All the registered user areas including personal data, forums, chat etc. have been now ...

Use of Polar Activitry Watch with Precor Elliptical
To gain confidence in the data from the Polar Activity Watch, I compared total active steps, time in different activity levels, and kcal expended with similar data for 4 different cadences on a Precor EFX524i elliptical exercise machine. Data was recorded from the Precor at average cadences of 120, 130, 140, and 150 strides per minute, exercising for 30 minutes at each level (different days ...

good for the price
The pedometer works with anything but the most tight fitting clothing. It seems accurate, but more so as you get higher in the steps. For me it seems to really count quickly that first 1000 or so steps and then everything after seems to really crawl. I've been using it for about 3 weeks to a month and I have consistently been able to achieve 9,000-15,000 steps daily depending on whether or not ...

Sportbrain Tracker
I received the Sportbrain as a Christmas gift. It is easy to figure out how to use - customer service was responsive with my questions. I wear it all the time and so track all my 'on land' activities. (Only downside is that it cannot be worn while swimming). The goal of 10,000 steps a day is reachable and I find that I walk 2 -3 miles a day at work. Motivates me not only to work out but also to ...

Omron pedometer is a winner
The Omron pedometer (HJ-105) has some very nice features. You input the time of day, your weight, the average length of your stride, and it will tell you the total number of steps each day, plus the number of aerobic steps (how does it know? I don't know!), the number of calories expended and the number of miles. The included manual is easy to understand and the interface is intuitive, at ...

superb
This is very small and very light weight. From my own personal counting it seems to be very accurate as well. I particularly liked that you set your stride length, it tells time and distance traveled and speed. Very well thought out. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use. Well worth the money.

Steppers will love this!
The Freestyle Pacer Pro pedometer is great! It is small, lightweight and has a cover so that buttons are not accidentally pressed. The display is easy to read. It has several functions but I only use it for counting steps. I have tried others, but came back to this one.

Ms,
My daughter bought this for me in 2004. I still love it. It is a great motivator to get out to walk. Helps to see how I am doing. I decide if I want to go further & longer. The virtal trainer is another good motivator as I try to stay up with "it". I highly recommend it. I wear it whenever I go out. Even take it when I go out, in case, I want to add more miles to my day. Better than any pedometer.

High tech sporttools
I own the Navman for Walking and purchased the Navman for Watersports for a friend. They are based on the same technology but use different algorithms so they are tailored for the application. The technology is GPS technology, and the Navman works by triangulating your position with GPS satelites which then allows you to track the time and the direction of your move and hence your speed and ...

I wear mine every day.
Just get one. You'll be amazed at how easy it can be to get several thousand steps in per day. (My goal is 10,000/day.) I find that I need to clip mine on my belt more to the side than to the front to get the most accurate counts. No complaints. It just works.
