This is my first subwoofer for the home and I am thoroughly impressed with the bass response and accuracy. Fantastic!!!
I bought this sub to replace my JBL Northridge Series E-250p, which just happened to fry two months after the one year warranty ran out. How convenient. It turns out that I am not the only one with the problem. JBL had a design problem with the circuit board. Some subs keep on working, some don't. Overall, I think that this sub sounds better, plus it has a five year warranty.

WOW!!!
witnessed this sub at the local circuit city. I was sitting for a good 30 minutes listening. This is a GREAT SUB. 4 stars because i feel price is a bit steep.
