MAC Powerbook
I bought this to work with my MAC Powerbook. It's plug and play. No need to download any software which means you can't use any of the extra features, but I didn't need them. Camera works well, good image, with a focus ring on front. Only slight issue is that the clip to put it on top of the laptop isn't very well designed in my opinion.

I've had the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks for several months now and it works great! Provides an excellent picture and sound. Also shows you a live picture of yourself so you know if you are staying in the center of the picture. Well worth the additional price.

camera and microphone work great for SKYPE
I bought one of these to use for SKYPE and Messenger. I had bought another cheap camera for my MOm and when we connected, hers was grainy and had to see and mine was so clear! Even in a darker room! The sound was great and so I bought another for her and returned hers. Don't settle for a cheaper camera, this one is great.

Great Webcam
This webcam was recommended to me by a friend. Excellent recommendation! I had it out of the box and in service in minutes. Using Skype, I was soon video-conferencing out-of-state family. Excellent Webcam for Laptops
This is easy to install, no issues with installing to Windows XP (SP2), looks good and not that expensive. From what I have read, works easily with all instant messaging tools, I have sued with Windows Messenger and Skype. The clip for laptop is a strong one. Strongly recommend getting this one.

The negative reviews for this product are too extreme. The main complaints are that the face-tracking doesn't work well--there's some truth to that, but reading the instructions helps a lot. Good camera although pricey.
This is a perfectly serviceable camera, comes with a great case, good portable camera to take with if you use a computer lab or the like. The only drawback is the system bogging, reminder laden software required to use the camera. Otherwise, it is a great unit, slightly over priced, which makes it a four star review.

This webcam was much more than I expected. It was easy to set up, easy to configure and it has an incredible picture. The privacy shade is a great feature, as is the the snapshot button. I would recommend this as a first cam for anybody. Logitech has a real winner on their hands with this line of cameras.
