Bushnell Golf Pinseeker 1500 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder133 reviews

Bushnell

Bushnell, 2005

Excellent Rangefinder!
I've used this product for a few weeks and it works great! It can easily pick up a flagstick at over 300 yds. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the less expensive range finders have difficulty in acquiring the flag (unless the wind is blowing). I tried one last year and took it back because it was basically useless. The 1500 performs exactly as advertised.

Barska Blueline 8x22 Waterproof Golf Scope (Yards)2 reviews

Barska

Barska, 2006

Takes a steady hand
This scope is what it is, a small, graduated monocular. You must hold it steady to use it effectively. It should be used to augment your distance estimates, in addition to course markers, etc. You don't get sophistication at this price. For beginning golfers, it's better than a wag!

SkyCaddie SG5 Golf GPS (Black)15 reviews

SkyCaddie

SkyCaddie, 2008

Works Perfectly
I read a lot of reviews and had some concerns but went ahead and bought the SG-5 anyway. I link to my Mac and it works flawlessly. Many of my regular playing partners are using laser range finders but I think that this unit is easier to use - you just glance at it - and helps speed of play. I am careful about protecting my stuff so I just bought a LowePro digital camera case (REZO 50) and the ...

Sonocaddie V300 Color GPS Unit15 reviews

Sonocaddie

Sonocaddie

Quality GPS Unit
This is something I can say certainly that delivers as promised. I have always struggled with my distances, especially in unmarked or poorly marked courses. Let's ignore the shots in the other fairway... This little gem really let me step up to the ball with confidence knowing I had the right club in hand, and that is truly valuable in a game as mental as golf. That said, I found the marked ...

Sigma DP1 14MP Digital Camera23 reviews

Sigma Corporation

Sigma Corporation, 2008

Great Images, Poor Software
This isn't a camera for everyone. I hike a lot in the mountains and its images are *gorgeous*. The 28mm is o.k.; I'd prefer something a little wider. It's s l o w with raw images; that's all I shoot. The Sigma software is (today) the /only/ way to convert raw images to TIFFs, and it's buggy. The Mac version crashes after 10 -12 images. That's totally unacceptable. Other Intel Mac users have the ...

Bushnell Tour V2 with Pinseeker Laser Rangefinder8 reviews

Bushnell

Bushnell, 2008

Awesome Product
I just received Tour V2 as a warrenty replacement for the Pro Tour that I returned as defective. The Tour V2 is so far superior to the Pro Tour especially the pin seeker feature. It recognizes the flag, even when it is limp, and bingo you have the yardage. Battery life of the Pro Tour was a problem and supposedly the V2 is far superior. We'll see.

Golf Buddy Pro GPS Range Finder2 reviews

GolfBuddy GPS Rangefinder

GolfBuddy GPS Rangefinder, 2008

Great tool
I bought the unit, took it home, charged it up, turned it on, it works. The following day I went to the golf course, turned it on. The unit found the golf course I Was going to play, but with another golf course info. Played with it trying to get the correct info, got frustrated and turned it off. When I got home, I turned on the computer, went to the Golf Buddy website. Followed the ...

Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 Laser Rangefinder13 reviews

Bushnell

Bushnell

Great for anchoring your sailboat
Basically, it works great! We use our rangefinder to judge the distance from our boat to the shore, other boats, and anything else around us. Typical distances are 20 to 200 yards. We bought the cheapest rangefinder we could find because we didn't need accuracy, didn't need long distance, and weren't sure it would be useful to us. Turns out we use it all the time and recommend it to all our ...

uPro Golf GPS15 reviews

uPro

uPro, 2008

So Far So Good
Does everything it says it will do. Probably cut 5-7 strokes off the first round I played on shots I would have ended up hitting short and into sand or water. Incredibly helpful to know the distance to the pin. I have a Mac and I did have problems getting it registered. Called the support desk, and within minutes they had me linked to a website which performed a firmware update on the unit. ...

Sonocaddie

Sonocaddie, 2007

Sonocaddie, A leader in Golf GPS
I have purchased the Sonocaddie and used if through a dozen rounds and side by side with a competitor, "G---logix". I believe the Sonocaddie to be superior in features and accuracies. Unlike it's competitor 1)I pay no download fees or membership 2)I can remap or plot various hazards, lay up points or special notations(I determine the areas of note on the whole, not some limited satellite ...

Galileo

Galileo

Not Bad~
I am not disappointed with it, because I did not expect the same result of $400 raser finder from this low price one. It is helpful to measure the distance in the field. Ironically, the real problem is that I can't hit the ball as far as I measure.

SkyCaddie SG2.5 Golf GPS (Black)5 reviews

SkyCaddie

SkyCaddie, 2008

Bill's Review
Have used the Sky Caddie for several weeks and find it really a helpful gadget. If you stay in the fairway, and distace markers are visble, it still helps by avoiding the pacing and estimating normally done. And if you're off the fairway, as we often are, it's invaluable. A great item!

Adorama Hot Shoe to PC Adapter, Single Outlet without Connecting Cord.2 reviews

Adorama

Adorama

One in each gadget bag.
This is so necessary for today's electronic cameras. Why take the chance of burning your electronic circuits with the off camera flashes. Slave flash is unreliable. Hard wire your camera but don't use the PC connector as some monoflashes suck more that 5-12 volts and this can ruin the electronics of the most robust camera. Mount this on the flash shoe and there will be no chance that the ...

Excellent device that works great!!
I got the Golf Guru last week, one week after ordering direct from Golf Guru( their shipping price was $3.00 less than Amazon and they give an option of AC or in car charger). My favorite course wasn't on their list so I requested that it be added. It took 6 days to create it. Played first round yesterday. Unit powered up immediately (note the first time it will take a while since it ...
