I had this same unit for over 20 years and it finally gave up. No sense trying anyone else out, I am sticking with a product that has been around the block for a awhile and is still in business. Only new features on the new ones are the inside controllers. Amazingly, my inside unit is still working so I only had to buy the outdoor unit. Never thought I'd be writing a review on wire. But here it is. I was surprised by the quality of this. I really was a cut above the rest. Even the ends were capped off. I almost bought telephone wire to finish this job off at the hardware store. I'm so glad I didn't.
