This switch kit worked just as I expected. Many gave a reveiw it was slow switching. I have XP on one computer and Vista on a new computer. I did not have any problems unless I switched back and forth quickly then it took about a minute longer. I would recommend this product. Also, it was deleivered in a timely manner.

I already had one of these behind a Netgear router and recently added a second to accommodate some gaming systems and a new PC. The older switch is over a year old and has held up wonderfully with moves, a few drops on the floor, and signal drops from the cable modem in front of everything. This does exactly what it's supposed to do. It works right out of the box in a mixed environment (10/100 mbps and 10/100/1000 mbps) without any loss of performance. Sometimes in a very quiet room you can hear it working, but not really noticeable.

Great little KVM that does its job. Switches between my Windows and Linux boxes perfectly. Sometimes the Windows box will take a minute to connect, but the Linux box works flawlessly. Can switch between machines by using the buttons on the KVM or hitting num-lock twice.
