I haven't had luck with non HP brand
I've tried the Staples equivalents and other equivalents of this cartridge, but have had bad luck with them (streaks in color, etc) that I didn't have using the same printer. I've stuck with only HP brand now and I've had no problems. I'd definitely say it's worth the higher price, the others were a waste!

Best prices on this ink
I have found that using "genuine" HP ink is much better than the other options of refilled cartridges or imitations. The color is better, ink lasts longer, and I've never had a problem of any kind with these. Since I use a LOT of ink, I have searched stores both online and brick and mortar, and these are the best prices I've found anywhere... especially when they often have free shipping.
