This product worked very well right out of the box for my fax server. Do take your time to install all the software that came with it so the usb port gets configured correctly. The only down side is that McAfee 8.0 does not like this modem and will block the usb port. Go figure so don't use McAfee with this.

This 8 line fax board is the best, most reliable fax board I ever owned. I never had one problem with it. It is using Agere modems onboard, and handshake very well with all types of fax machines. Multi-tech gets A+ for this one heck of a quality product! Uses: Fax Blasting, or Fax Server and maybe other uses. But thats what I used it for.
