I bought this to use with my HD tv and it works well. As soon as I plugged it in I was able to pick up a good signal on a lot of local channels. A visit to antennaweb.org and I got the right angle to set the antenna to pick up the stations I will use the most. I only gave it 3 stars because the construction on it is pretty cheap. We purchased two of the stands after frustration with others including other fellows brands. The unit was difficult to snap into place and be careful with screws as parts can come undone and be hard to get back together. The arm is not as high quality as the base. Great base, clipboard is fine, flimsy but that's what they all seem to be. Just got it so not sure how it will stand up to usage ...

Comes with a good cartridge and needle, comes with a plastic top, with weight changing and anti skating. Other people seem to have problems with the shipping, but i had no problems. The plastic was not warped. It is 62% off, this is probably as good as the expensive ones. Make sure you get a preamp for this, it does not have one buit in.
