Good product, good value, software is clunky
I bought this to add tv tuner capabilities to my desktop workstation. It works quite well for watching and pausing live tv. The software for viewing, planning, and storing automated recordings is quite clunky and awkward to use. Works well out the box.
No problems with installation. Did not use cd for drivers. Used website drivers (but did not install wintv). Works well with MS Media Center in Vista 32-bit. Does not work with 3rd party programs like DScaler (due to mpeg2 output). No other particular complaints.

HDHomeRun Worsks great
I've been using this with a Vista Media Center (x64) system for about a month and a half. This product works like a charm, it was fairly easy to setup and integrate with Media Center. I've recorded two HD channels at a time without issue since installing it & am very happy with the product.

Absolutely rediculous, I'd have to agree. While this card did receive the 'Gold Standard' rating from PC Magazine, the fact that Amazon is charging $40 more than the Hauppauge online store for an identical product is mind boggling.
