D-Link

D-Link

Turnkey approach to small networking
Tired of always having the "good printer" on the other machine at home or office? Here's a quick and easy way to share printers, files and other goodies. D-link's hubby kit is all you need for a small LAN. D-Link is a well-respected name in networking hardware. Their hubs and switches have been around and hold up well. This network-in-a-box is a great way to get started. The four-port hub ...

BROTHER

Low cost , superior quality!
This machine is a work horse. We have purchased two of these for our large office and find these machines to be one of the better deals out there. One big plus is that we can use up all the extra toner cartridges from our old HP 4050's, both machines use the same catridge! Other than that, we are sticking with the brother line because of speed and price. Finally someone is comeing out with ...

Good, but don't mistake it for a fully gigabit switch
This type of switch certainly has its place, but make sure you realize that this switch only has one gigabit port. The rest are 10/100 ports. This is good for connecting a bunch of 10/100 computers to a 1000 network. However, if your computers has a gigabit card, you'll want a switch with all gigabit ports to get the full speed.

Organizer's delight
This item is a winner. It was purchased based on my brother-in-law's recommendation of a smaller model. I am using it strictly for home organizing tasks and find it easy to use, fast set-up, and good labels for shelves, boxes, etc. Haven't tried the computer functions yet. But would definitely recommend this for making labels for home use. There is one proviso which I would note to the ...

Linksys 5-Port Switch
I already had one of these behind a Netgear router and recently added a second to accommodate some gaming systems and a new PC. The older switch is over a year old and has held up wonderfully with moves, a few drops on the floor, and signal drops from the cable modem in front of everything. No issues, great product and I would definitely recommend, all at a great low price too!

Just got it--and it works great right out of the box
I unwrapped this item today, so I don't have any information on its longterm quality. But so far, it's making a very good impression. The set-up and installation were very easy, and it worked great both connected directly with a USB cable, and as a wireless network printer. I plugged it directly into my Netgear WGT624 Super G 108 Mbps Wireless Router (which I also recommend highly). Then ...

Samsung

Good print quality but very high toner use...
I'm pleased with the print quality and speed but am finding the printer to be very, very expensive to operate. Even with Samsung's Toner Saver feature turned on, we (a small business) are only getting approximately 5,500 mostly text pages from a 10,000 page cartridge. At first, I thought that we'd been shipped the 4,000 page cartridge by mistake. However, I called Samsung, and they said that ...

ACT! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2007 Upgrade3 reviews

Windows | Sage Software, 2006

What a nightmare
What a nightmare this product is. I can't believe Sage released this. If I could give it negative 5 stars I would. DO NOT BUY THIS!! My computer runs slower than it did with 6.0. When we converted the data from 6.0 (on it's own, this is a special brand of hell), it didn't bring over both phone numbers for contacts!!! THIS IS A CONTACT DATABASE! YOU NEED YOUR CONTACT PHONE NUMBERS! Getting ...

Hewlett Packard

Hewlett Packard

A nice little workhorse. Rugged and well-designed
I bought the HP2600N with a little trepidation. The price was so low that I was afraid that there was a "catch"--that either it jammed a lot, was too slow, or had some other fault. It was not the case. This has been a very rugged little workhorse for my light to medium duty needs. It is adequately fast at 8PPM for the needs of my home law office. I use the 2600N mainly in conjunction with ...

This is Great!!!
I have had this printer for about 3 months now and it is moving along great. It handles all the paper and envelops that I send it. I do about 150 envelops a week and have printed about 4500 pages at this point, about 1000 in color. I am getting a empty toner message but I just told the printer to continue and the output still looks great. I have ordered an aftermarket refill bottle from ...

Low priced workhorse
I bought this printer for SOHO use. The unit is well made and well designed. The output is very good, and the print speed is wicked fast, including the time to print the first page. The big seller for me was the built-in 100-base T ethernet port, which allows all network computers to share the device without needing a dedicated print server on the LAN. The setup is pretty easy, althought not ...

Linksys

Two Thumbs Up
I got the Linksys EZXS88W to replace an old, well used Netgear 4 port switch. The Netgear switch had worked flawlessly for years but I now needed more ports. I just swapped the switches, plugged in the additional ethernet devices and, Walla!, no problems. The EZXS88W switch hasn't missed a beat and my traffic is now much heavier. Good product, good price. Well done Linksys.
