Does what it is supposed to do
this does everything it is supposed to do! Once you get used to the software, all functions are smooth. I use the kit to record phone calls all the time. No, I can't use it agaisnt them, but i have major memory problems due to siezures. I go back and take notes. the index feature is huge! as the conf call goes from one subject to another I hit the button for note taking later.

Great little voice recorder and music player. I like the ability to plug directly into computer. I record my sermons and then download so that i can send to the shut ins and family members. Works great!

Good except for line-in recording
This is my first digital recorder, so nothing to compare it to yet, however I like the quality of recording so far with two exceptions: adjusting the record volume is not possible (dictate mode is a tiny bit quieter, but captures LOTS of room echo), so in a very loud environment the microphone can saturate and then records more noise than sound.
