Poor quality product
This charger worked for a few days and emits a high-pitched noise when in use. Although it was about half the price as directly from Compaq . . . it is defiantly not worth it!

It worked after replacing the wall plug
The charger works, although I had to replace the part that goes from the unit to the wall; the wall plug. The unit also gets quite hot.
