Buy it for its uniqueness
VERY heavy bulb - tipped over the goose-neck lamp i tried to use it in. GOOD subtle lighting though - and not as "hot" as most halogens. nope you won't find this "cut-glass" type in the home improvement stores so get it for its looks and productivity. as far as price goes, it's a wee bit less expensive than buying 2- or 3-packs at HomeyDepot. works GREAT on winter-light-deprived inside plants!

Realize when you order these, they come in a simple cardboard box that Amazon throws into a lightly padded shipping envelope with nothing to keep them from bouncing around. Plan on getting at least one broken. They are still cheaper than Home Depot.

The quality of this bulb was utterly bad. Who would think that a $7 bulb would broke within 2 months regular use? And Feit's website did not have any warranty or service information. I would strongly advice against any of their products.
