Not sure why the other persons was salty. Maybe it was a bad batch. I am sure if that was the case, you can always contact the company and le them know of the problem. I love these snacks. I've been using this stuff for years, but always with coffee. Empty the contents into a mug, use coffee (instead of water), and (very important)stir while pouring the coffee in.
