I order wrong swab, I needed the softer one. I have stage 4 neck cancer. I need the swab to clear the mucus from my mouth due to sores form chemo, But I can use then a a tooth brush since I still have my upper teeth.

Just what we needed
My husband had surgery for oral cancer and these swabs were very similar to the ones the hospital used. They are soft and individually wrapped and really helped to keep his lips and tongue moisturized until he was back to normal. Good value too.

I agree with Paul ... You have to buy 1000, but these are good. There is a "model" with a shorter paper handle that seems too flexible and short, and even those cost about 5 times as much as these.

Simply put, I had a hard time finding these 'plain' swabs - everything these days is treated with that mint-flavored gel or something similar, and all we wanted was these. (Medicaid used to pay for them, but oh well...) Thanks!
