From what I hear it works.

I've never used a lube intended for this purpose before, so I can't compare it to anything really except to mayo and shortening. I still prefer water based, but best silicone I've used
It definitely has a different feel than water based lubes, so if that's what you are used to this might be a shock. But a little goes a long way and it does last thru long sessions. I haven't tried it with toys yet so we'll see.

this stuff is awesome. unlike many lubricants astroglide doesn't get sticky after some friction is applied. if you've ever experienced lube getting sticky i'm sure you know it's a mood killer, not an issue with astroglide. the strawberry scent is also great for buttsex since it releases a plesant smell
