Merthiolate hurts like heck at first when you put it on a cut or scrape. But after a few seconds the pain of the injury is gone. We used this for the past 50 years and never got an infection in a cut or scrape. This really works for me.

Great oral thrush treatment
My infant son had a persistent oral thrush and neither nystatin or diflucan worked t get rid of it. The last resort was the Gentian voilet and it should've been used as the first trratment. Other than the purple mouth, it worked great. WARNING It stains pretty badly so make sure it doesn't spill or get on any good fabrics.

Great product to control acne

hard to find
I read about white iodine being good for your nails. I asked all our local pharmacies and department stores and couldn't find it. In fact our one pharmacy told me they couldn't get it in. I am using it on my nails now and they are improving.
